Midtown Alliance Mtg Nov 10th @ 7pm

NSO (Neighborhood Service Organization) is moving more than 100 people from homelessness to a home and are creating a basic needs kit for each of these individuals. The Midtown Meeting is this week (Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. at Mario’s) and we ask that everyone try and bring some of the items on their list. NSO will be bringing their van to the meeting this week to pick-up the items.  Think of this akin to a food drive.

Even if you can’t make the meeting, feel free to drop by some items from 8:15pm to 8:30pm on Wednesday night.

As a refresher, they are looking for the following items:

Bedroom:

Comforter/Blanket
2 pillows
Laundry Basket

Kitchen:

Dish Pan – Dish Towel
Silverware
Pots and pans
Knife Set
Dish Detergent

Bathroom:

Tooth brush – tooth paste
2 towels
Bath soap, deodorant
Shower curtain and bathroom rug
Comet/Ajax (powder all purpose cleaner of some sort)
Toilet Scrubber

Cleaning Kit:

Broom and dust pan
Mop – Pail – Pinesol (floor cleaner of some sort)
Trash Can
