DPD’s Candlelight Vigil

Please mark your calendar for the following event:
Please join Chief Ralph L. Godbee, Jr. and members of the Detroit Police Department at the Candlelight Vigil & “Respect Life and Stop the Violence” ceremony scheduled for December 15, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. in front of Police Headquarters, located at 1300 Beaubien.
The ceremony will be in remembrance of the sons, and daughters, twenty years of age and under whose lives have been lost due to violence, a fire, and fatal accident between the dates of December 1, 2009 to November 30, 2010. The program will also include a special prayer for the children worldwide in addition to the children who died on September 11, 2001.
All are invite to attend and join family members of victims and personnel of the Detroit Police Department for this event.
