BULK DROP-OFF LOCATIONS

Residents can also take bulk items to one of five bulk drop-off locations:

Davison Yard — 8221 West Davison
Southfield Yard — 12255 Southfield Service Dr.
5840 Anthon between Cavalry and Campbell
State Fair Yard — 19715 John R
Waste Management Transfer Station — 1550 Harper, enter on Ferry St.
These drop-off locations are open to Detroit residents only with proper identification. Residents are limited to one load per household per day, not to exceed one cubic yard or 1,000 pounds. The City will not accept demolition, construction, or remodeling debris (including shingles), household or commercial garbage, or tree stumps.

BULK DROP-OFF HOURS

November-March
8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. • Tuesday-Saturday

April-October
10:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. • Tuesday-Saturday

(The Waste Management facility is open Monday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., the Southfield Yard location is open Monday-Saturday).

All locations (except Waste Management) are closed from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
