“Respect Life and Stop the Violence” Ceremony
Dear Community Partners,
You are cordially invited to join Chief of Police Ralph L. Godbee Jr., city dignitaries, members of the Detroit Police Department, Crime Stoppers, community groups, representatives from the Urban League of Detroit & Southeastern Michigan, Detroit 1-8-7, and family members of victims at the Candlelight Vigil & “Respect Life and Stop the Violence” ceremony.
This event will be in remembrance of the sons, and daughters whose lives have been lost due to violence, a fire, or fatal accident between the dates of December 1, 2009 to November 30, 2010. The program will also include a special prayer for the children worldwide in addition to the children who died on September 11, 2001.
When: 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2010.
Where: In front of Police Headquarter, located 1300 Beaubien.
