SUMMARY OF DUTIES - This position supports all database efforts in leveraging Greektown Casino’s competitive advantage. It also oversees the performance of the Database Marketing Analysts and Data Entry Clerk; and is responsible for timely and accurate reporting of results as requested by Management.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS – Requires prolonged sitting or standing; requires the use of office equipment such as computer, telephone, copy machine, fax, micro-film machine, and typewriter; requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols; requires normal vision range and absence of color blindness; regular, predictable attendance required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – (includes, but is not limited to, the following):
Implement and maintain the Data Warehouse;
Maintain the integrity of the player tracking system as it pertains to player profile;
Directs & oversees accurate and timely reports and queries generated by Database Analysts;
Oversees the creation and maintenance of all promotional prizes and tags within the player tracking system as it pertains to database marketing projects;
Identifies and maintains market segments within the database and identifying new segments within the target markets;
Planning and executing of direct marketing projects, within the parameters of the budget;
Direct & oversee the performance analysis of direct marketing projects;
Communicate the direct marketing efforts to affected departments;
Maintain relationships with vendors as it pertains to direct marketing efforts;
Prepare and present project performance analysis to upper management for review;
Performs various projects as assigned by Greektown Casino Executive Management;
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be computer literate (Microsoft Word, Access, Power Point, Excel, and SPSS experience preferred).
Must have excellent written, mathematical and verbal communication skills in order to accurately report and present to upper management.
Must have ability to manage and execute multiple projects.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Education – BS Degree in Marketing or related field, or comparable experience.
Experience – Minimum five (5) years experience within the gaming industry in a marketing management capacity; Minimum two (2) years experience in database, direct marketing and analysis required.
Certificate/License – Michigan Gaming Occupational Level Two License
