DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision, manages and develops the truck based service business within a specified territory and delivers (executes) this service to our customers, meeting service sales and pre-determined profitability objectives. Provides technical customer support and drives customer satisfaction and retention. Responsible for employee development, retention and safety program compliance.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Leads assigned field team in the delivery of quality service and customer satisfaction while ensuring safety compliance. Maintains proper staffing levels and skill mix; conducts performance appraisals; makes salary recommendations; approves time sheets, purchase orders, credits; and performs all other necessary management and administrative tasks.
2. Provides technical solutions to complex problems either troubleshooting the system / equipment or advises others on how to resolve problems.
3. Monitors and ensures contract obligations and other customer requirements are
consistently met while maximizing gross margin profitability.
4. Responsible for estimate reviews for all assigned business. Tasked with objectives for gross margin delivery and profitability.
Drives Labor and Material growth and identifies sales leads through the FLSPs.
5. Provides risk mitigation on customer satisfaction and warranty issues. Investigates customer calls or claims and provides recommendations and feedback to branch management regarding causes and resolutions.
6. Coordinates with System / Equipment Sales on new equipment start-ups, as well as sales leads for new customers.
7. Manages team budgets and overhead accounts as assigned. Provides input to the Branch business plan.
8. Performs other duties related to customer satisfaction and the development and maintenance of the service business on their assigned team.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ten years of progressive troubleshooting and leadership experience in the HVAC&R and or building controls systems. Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering plus five years of relevant HVAC& R and or building controls experience preferred. Work requires one or two years of prior experience in directing or leading the work of others. Must have the ability to interact effectively with employees and customers in difficult situations. Possesses proven communication skills and the ability to present technical ideas and concepts to customers and other technical professions.

Job Title Responsibilities:

Detailed Job Description:
~ Assist Accounting Financial Manager with any project/task assigned
~ Will be seated at front receptionist desk , Answer calls, forward calls, take messages, greet customers, vendors, schedule meetings, clean up lunch room, run dish washer, make copies, take meeting notes, hand out badges.
~ Preparation, copying and mailing and/or e-mailing of all invoices after:
~ Review of supporting documentation, billed in accordance with the billing checklist for that customer.
~ Importing invoices files from import/export software program
~ Accurately post all payments received by check, ACH or wire transactions in payment of invoices or monthly statements.
~ Resolve customer inquires concerning past due invoices, payments or debit/credit memos, approved write-offs and entering them in the accounting system
~ Process bi-monthly bank reports for manager’s signature
~ Run month end A/R reports.
~ Balance A/R aging to the General Ledger account 2020
~ Prepare monthly United Shipping A/R reports
~ Check web-site for deposits

Position Overview:
Hand out daily job traveler to employees (check with Production Coordinator to be sure that jobs have been correctly designated.)
Comply with the provisions of the O.H.S.A. and requirements and take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of the workers.
Conduct routine daily inspections (document findings) of the workplace and provide copies for management. Initiate appropriate corrective actions for any unsafe conditions or situations identified. Investigate, report and take corrective action to address identified unsafe acts or conditions. Ensure that only authorized, qualified (competent) individuals operate equipment. Initiate progressive discipline actions, according to policy. Work with J.H.S.C. and assist as required.
Ensure that 5S and Kaizen housekeeping practices are adhered to.
Ensure that daily preventive maintenance schedules are being adhered to.
During the off-shifts (afternoons and midnight’s), the incumbent is responsible to establish and maintain communication with other people in roles of responsibility (i.e. quality, set-up, lift truck driver etc.) to ensure that production is running effectively and efficiently. During the day shift, the Production Supervisor works closely with the Production Coordinator to report any production problems.
Verbally and by completing the Shift Leader’s Report, communicate with other shift supervisors in matters relating to production and quality (i.e. -problems, production goals being reached, machinery not working properly.)
Ensure that employees are following all rules and codes of conduct established in the Employee Handbook.
Ensure that employees involved in accidents receive the proper care required. All accidents must be documented on an Accident Report form accurately and completely.
Ensure that all new personnel have received appropriate training on their job so that they are aware of Quality, Productivity and Safety requirements.
Provide leadership and direction to production employees (direct reports) which include attendance management and performance management.
Perform audits pertaining to 5S and Kaizen ensuring shop floor cleanliness
When and where necessary, implement corrective action to bring about positive changes in employee to ensure optimum quality and efficiency.
Complete performance appraisals in a timely manner for hourly employees
Ensure proper completion of daily check sheets (verification sheets) to maximize employee performance and safety
Ensure that employees are issued job travelers.
Ensure that Daily Labor reports are edited, and tracked to oversee employee performance
May be required to work above and beyond normal shift hours to ensure an understanding and completion of production requirements
Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
Experience:
Must have experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
Minimum grade 12 education required, further education a definite asset.
Must be familiar with TS16949 requirements, ISO awareness, 5S and Kaizen policies, Heath the Safety legislative requirement and Significant Environmental Aspects including:
a) Waste Management
Must have a strong technical background and have a general understanding of the function and operation of fabricating equipment.
Must have blueprint reading knowledge.
Must be team oriented, excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees.
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Computer literate- Excel, Lotus notes, Word, Vantage
Must be knowledgeable in matters relating to health and safety.
