Community Resource Forum VII, “NO FAMILY LEFT BEHIND” a one stop shop of 50 resources, aimed to empower our communities with resources in education, finance, health, housing, jobs, law and public safety, under one roof, on Saturday, January 14, 2012, the Dr Martin Luther King Jr Holiday Weekend, between the hours of 10:00am and 3:00pm at the Northwest Activities Center, 18100 Meyers Rd, Detroit, MI 48221, southeast corner of Curtis.
ALL RESIDENTS, BLOCK CLUBS, COMMUNITIES, ORGANIZATIONS, CHURCHES & SCHOOLS ARE INVITED & WELCOME!!!

For the 2012 January-April tax season, we offer free tax help at more than 20 locations throughout Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Livingston counties. Some sites are by appointment; others provide services on a first-come, first-served basis.

Most locations offer walk-ins on a first come, first served service. Some are by appointment only.
ELIGIBILITY BASED ON ANNUAL HOUSEHOLD INCOME
• $50,000 or less for Families (married couple, or person with at least one dependent, for example, a single parent or grandparent with guardianship)
• $25,000 or less for Individuals
• If you pay rent, taxes or heating bills but are not working, you may still be eligible for some tax credits.
