Qualifications
To qualify, you must:

  • Be at least 22 years of age
  • Pass a DOT physical, criminal background check and drug screening
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Have an good driving record
  • Must be able to obtain a passport to cross the Canadian border
  • Successfully complete Greyhound’s driver training program

Professional Driver Training Program
Greyhound training is an intense 6-week program targeting energetic and motivated students with a safety first mind set. There are three phases of training.
Phase One – Qualification School (1 Week)
Candidates must successfully complete 20-hours of self-directed computer based training, pass a DOT physical exam, pass a drug screen, and obtain a CDL permit with the proper endorsements. Our hiring managers are flexible and will work with you to schedule training at your convenience. For instance, you can complete your training in 5 days (4 hours a day) or 2
�days (8 hours a day).
Phase Two – Driving School (2 Weeks)
If selected, you will attend two weeks of behind-the-wheel training at one of our centrally located driver-training schools. Greyhound will provide lodging, meals and a student per diem allowance during phase two.

Phase Three – Finishing School (3 Weeks)
You will continue to receive your per diem allowance as you train at your home location. You will complete the required 120-hours of behind the wheel practice with your driving mentor while learning the routes and polishing your customer service skills

Job Duties/Qualifications

The PATH Outreach Case Manager, as part of a comprehensive community mental health team and in collaboration with the person served, is responsible for providing crisis intervention, intensive outreach services, assessment, service plan development, housing placement, linkage/ coordination of services, benefit assistance, re-assessment and follow-up, and monitoring of services.  The PATH Outreach Case Manager provides services to an assigned caseload under the supervision of the Program Supervisor.

 

Bachelor’s degree in a human services field required or a minimum of two years’ experience in mental health field with Social Work Technician License. Appropriate professional registration/certification by state or national authority required (i.e. SWT, SW, CSW, LPC, LLC, and CAC).  Possession of valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications/Job Duties

The Center for Working Families (CWF) Network Workforce Development Liaison (WDL) will work approximately 30 hours per week to provide training and technical assistance relating to workforce development to all CWF’s in Southeast Michigan.   The WDL will convene the CWF Workforce Coaches monthly network meetings and provide technical assistance.   The WDL will be a liaison for the CWF network with Local, State, and Federal partners including, the Workforce Investment Board(s), Community Colleges and Workforce Collaborative and will identify employment gaps and opportunities, trainings and best practices for the Greater Detroit CWF Network Workforce Coaches.    Part of the time will also be spent providing direct service to individuals participating in programs of the Southwest Housing Solution’s CWF programs.

 

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a field related to human resources, workforce development, or career planning preferred.  Verified experience in job coaching and/or job development in either private or public agencies within the last four years.  Working knowledge of computer software (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook), and ability to learn new computer programs.  Fluency in Spanish language preferred.  Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Possession of a valid driver’s license and have access to private vehicle for day-to-day job performance.

Qualifications/Job Duties

The Compliance Specialist, as part of the Supportive Housing Services Team and in collaboration with the person served, is responsible for managing and maintaining compliance of the various components of the TBRA, S+C and SHP programs.   In addition, this position further involves the review and certification of Homeless Preference Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program as well as coordinating with Housing Agents as TBRA participants are converted to Homeless Preference HCV. This position is a community based position which involves extensive coordination with landlords/property managers as well as service providers throughout the Detroit area. The Compliance Specialist is under the supervision of the Rental Assistance Program Supervisor.

 

Bachelor’s degree in a human services field required.  Master’s degree preferred.  Appropriate professional registration/certification by state or national authority required (i.e. SW,CSW,LPC,LLC,CAC).  Ability to engage homeless persons with mental illness.  Good verbal/written communication skills, basic computer skills. Possession of valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance.
