To be eligible for this program, you must be:
* Be a U.S. citizen
* Be a full- or part-time continuing college or university junior, or graduate
student (including graduating seniors intending to go on to graduate school).
* Have good academic standing
* Successfully complete a background investigation
* Be able to receive and maintain either a Secret or Top Secret clearance.

- Tuesday, June 5 at 5:30 pm – Whole Foods Market Basics – (repeat) Join us for an in depth overview of the Midtown store design; interior and exterior. Also learn about Whole Foods Market as a company, and what we plan to bring to Detroit when we open in 2013.
- Thursday, June 7 at 5:30 pm – Savvy Shopping at WFM – Do you think Whole Foods Market is pricey? Would you like to know the best ways to shop our store (and other grocery stores too) and get the most for your dollar? Come learn the secrets, sample some good food, and take away some information you can use where ever you shop.
- Tuesday, June 12 at 5:30 – Organics & GMO 101 – Do you wonder what “Organic” really means? Are you concerned about GMOs? Come learn what they are all about, ask the questions you have been seeking answers to, and learn how to get the information you need about the food you feed your family.
- Week of June 18 – No classes – Our Detroit office will be closed this week.

PURPOSE: Ellis Stafford and Ron Reddy of the Detroit Crime Commission, and Matthew Bihun from the Southwest Detroit Business Association will join us for a discussion of new code enforcement initiatives underway in Detroit.
The upcoming Vacant Property Coalition meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 6-8pm at 8850 Woodward, will provide residents with an overview of the basic principles of code enforcement and nuisance actions, specifically within the context of Detroit. Furthermore, it will educate residents and community groups of the role that they play in addressing nuisances and code violations (i.e. observing, reporting, being persistent) and also the role that government plays in this process.
Ellis Stafford, Ron Reddy will share information regarding their organization’s unique approach to pursuing accountability from negligent property owners through nuisance actions. In addition, Matthew Bihun will discuss his organization’s participation in two nuisance suits.
