Position:  ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

CBS 62 Detroit is seeking an experienced Broadcast Sales Account Executive with a minimum of 2 – 3 years in outside media sales. We are looking for someone who comes from a “consultant” style sales background with experience in digital and online sales. Candidate must possess the hard work ethic necessary to succeed in today’s challenging business climate. Responsibilities will include marketing this station to major advertising agencies, retailers, distributors, and manufacturers with a focus on developing new business and growing share with current advertisers by selling the station’s commercial inventory, creating customized and unique promotions, attending client driven events, and selling any/all sports properties. Strong presentation and negotiation skills a must.  Ideal candidate will be detail oriented, creative, energetic, driven to succeed and have the desire to make an endless amount of income.  Degree preferred, but not required.
