The Kodak Scholarship Program
This scholarship is for college students who enrolled in a filmmaking program. The top prize is $5000 big ones and the deadline is May 17th. You must be nominated for apply but all that means is that you need to get someone from your school's film department to nominate you.
You need to create a short film as part of the application process.

All classes will be free of charge, but registration is required since space is limited.
Classes will take place in at the Detroit office on 3670 Woodward Ave.
The parking structure located behind is office is available, but parking is $6. Unfortunately, they are not able to validate parking at this time.

Seafood – Learn about Whole Foods Market’s Animal Welfare Program, and
what that means for the meat and seafood sold in the stores. Talk to
one of the creators of the 5-Step Rating program Whole Foods Market
recently launched, which raises the bar to new levels on humane animal
treatment.
· Thursday, July 5 – 5:30-6:30 pm - Meat 5-Step & Sustainable
Seafood – Learn about Whole Foods Market’s Animal Welfare Program, and
what that means for the meat and seafood sold in the stores. Talk to
one of the creators of the 5-Step Rating program Whole Foods Market
recently launched, which raises the bar to new levels on animal
treatment.
· Friday, July 6 – noon-1pm - Quality at Whole Foods Market –
What really makes Whole Foods Market different? Come find out. Learn
what you will and won’t find on the shelves at Whole Foods Market and
learn how and why these standards were put into place.
· Monday, July 9 – 5:30-6:30 pm - Organics & GMO 101 – Do you
wonder what “Organic” really means? Are you concerned about GMOs? Come
learn what they are all about, ask the questions you have been seeking
answers to, and learn how to get the information you need about the
food you feed your family.
· Tuesday, July 10 – noon-1 pm - Organics & GMO 101 – Do you
wonder what “Organic” really means? Are you concerned about GMOs? Come
learn what they are all about, ask the questions you have been seeking
answers to, and learn how to get the information you need about the
food you feed your family.
· Wednesday, July 18 – noon-1 pm - Savvy Shopping at WFM – Do
you think Whole Foods Market is pricey? Would you like to know the
best ways to shop our store (and other grocery stores too) and get the
most for your dollar? Come learn the secrets, sample some good food,
and take away some information you can use where ever you shop.
