M.L.K. Day “Safe Routes to School” Board Up Event
We are excited to invite you to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day “Safe Routes to School” event hosted by the Wayne State University’s Center for Urban Studies (“the Center”) AmeriCorps Urban Safety project. This year we are partnering up with Wayne State University’s Department of Community Affairs, Vanguard Next Steps AmeriCorps program, and United Way for the 2012 Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service project to board up four vacant and open homes near Thirkell Elementary.
